Hi!

Welcome to our website. You have probably found our page because you are interested in playing badminton. As you may have noticed our website is completely in Dutch. For everyone who doesn’t speak Dutch (very well), we want to provide the most important information in English.

If you are interested in more information than you can find on this website, don’t hesitate to come to the sports hall on our playing moments or send an email to info@pbcboomgaardshoek.nl.

As you probably already know Dutch people (generally) speak English very well, so it is unlikely that you will experience a language barrier when you come and play at our club.

When do we play

We play badminton on

Tuesday

19:00 – 20:00    - youth

20:00 – 22:00    - adults

Friday

18:00 – 20:00    - youth

20:00 – 22:00    - adults

Sunday

11:00 – 13:00 or

10:00 – 14:00

For playing on Sundays always check the calendar on our website, because opening/playing times depend on whether matches are scheduled on that day.

What types of membership do we have

You are welcome to our club and can play along twice  without any obligations. This way you can see if you feel comfortable at our club and want to become a member. After those two times you have various membership options

Membership youth (maximum age 19 years old)

Membership 1: €168 (you can play on Friday and Sunday) 
Membership 2: €219 (you can play on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday)

Membership adults

€263 

‘Try out’ membership (adults only)

€55 for playing two months

‘Stamp card’  (adults only)

€65 for playing 10 times (with one bar service shift)
€75 for playing 10 times (without bar service shift)

Student membership (only for fulltime students not older than 30 years)

Membership 1: €133 (you can play on Friday and Sunday)
Membership 2: €175 (you can play on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday)

Bar service shift

We manage our own ‘sports bar’, which has a lot of benefits for our club. We can keep prices low and organise lots of activities. Most members voluntarily do bar service shifts twice a year. If you want to know what a bar service shift entails, don’t hesitate to ask us. If you don’t want to do a bar service shift a €25 fee per season is required.

Competition & Training

We offer our members the possibility to participate in regional competitions. If you are interested in playing in a competition and would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us via: info@pbcboomgaardshoek.nl

Competition players train on Tuesday nights.
